The employability Skills Training (EST) program is designed to support you with intensive coaching, training, and mentoring while creating opportunities for you to connect with employers in your local area.

Offering 6 weeks of intensive support through 2 x 3-week blocks of face-to-face training and support, the program will provide you with a full kit bag of job readiness tools to help you land the role you have had your eyes on.

What does the training involve?

Broken into two blocks of training – Block 1 and Block 2, training is designed to give you lifelong career-building skills, including how to make sure your resume stands out, and how to write a killer cover letter.

Hone your job interview skills while benefiting from mentoring and support with your job search. Plus, get real work experience and a foot in the door with ‘Industry Awareness Experiences’ – building your confidence and understanding of what employers are looking for.

Prestige Staffing Solutions offers the opportunity to explore specialisations in hospitality, retail, business, or construction.

The days spent at the Sanctuary allowed me to improve not only my photography/video skills but helped me understand how to work in a Team with a common goal in mind. It gave me a greater understanding of preparation and prioritising my work. Things I’d never really understood while at school.

At Cowch, we are passionate about firstly helping the adults of tomorrow have a great start. We help them with a lot of key factors, from customer service, dealing with complaints, being part of a team, understanding how to follow guidelines to making products. We don't just put them in the dish room.

My traineeship at Prestige Service Training was a huge help, it led me down the career pathway I was looking for and boosted my schooling studies, allowing me to pass with a Certificate in business. My time at prestige was awesome, I had a very different learning experience than the one I had in school while being provided real life work experience.

I am a huge believer in that school is important but that it isn't for everyone. It is great to be able to offer students other options with real life skills, that they take with them well after they have left. On the job training along with a Certificate 3 benefits both the trainee and myself.
